About the Settle-Carlisle and Lancaster-Morecambe Special Winter Rail Offer

Metro and Northern Rail have teamed up to offer a special £10 day return ticket on either the Leeds to Settle-Carlisle or Lancaster-Morecambe scenic railway lines.  The offer runs from Monday 26 November 2012 until Friday 15 March 2013 (excluding 18-22 February 2013) and full details are on Metro’s website at www.wymetro.com.

This offer has been promoted over the winter period for many years now and is very popular.  This blog was set up in 2010 to give you a site where you can share your own experiences and adventures about the routes and pass on any tips to other travellers.  We’ve split the blog into five pages with these headings:-
